Tip # 8 - fpTransfer Cable
When using fpTransfer between DOS and *NIX, sometimes the cable can be a problem. When you have tried all the setup options and cable configurations in the fpTransfer documentation, and it still does not work, try this last resort cable/ connector configuration before calling a technician in to check your hardware.
It has worked for us many times.
