For new century logic to work, use PFCMARK=80 to have all years 1980 - 1999 to be in the 1900's and all years 2000-2079 to be in the 2000's. Any date that filePro understands as a date with the edits, mdy, mdy/, ymd, ymd/ will understand the correct century. The system maintained fields will understand the correct century in all comparisons and sorts. If you have stored dates with the century already using the edits, mdyy, mdyy/, yymd, or yymd/ these will already understand the correct century. So there is no need to reprogram all your dates, unless you have stored them in non-date fields using other edits.

For example, a user edit called mmyy that just puts the month and year together. This is not a valid date edit. Therefore any sorts or logic will need to be changed for the century.

To get the @td to include a century, just do the following:

zx(10,mdyy/)=@td

Then use zx as the new today's date including the century. This could be added to the automatic table and be available for all processes quickly.
